Triumph GT6 - Alternative Gearboxes

Does anyone know of a viable alternative to the GT6 gearbox, including details of fitment? How about alternative differentials?

Any Vitesse box will fit. TR and 2000/2.5 are too big, unless you are willing to chop the chassis rails.

Both these are fragile. If you can get a Dolomite 1850 box, single rail, the internals will fit yours, but you will need to chop the rear extension a bit. The shafts and bearings are much bigger and will take a lot more stick.
