Is LacClaire Spares coming back. Look at this wiring harness for sale. he wants $27.00 for shipping.
He is using the same type of come-on and includes instrument repair too.

I have a brand new British Wiring harness ready to go in my TD so I'm not in the market, but I would be tempted to make note of this guy as he is close by. Can you tell me what the problem is? (Pardon me, I'm still fairly new to T series cars.) Perhaps you might rather post to my e-mail address about this.

This guy charges outrageous shipping charges (Sandy was pointing that out) plus if the auction isn't going his way, i.e., the bids aren't high enough, he'll pull the item off the auction site rather than let you get a bargain. As people catch on to who he is he'll disappear for a while then come back under a different selling name...I think LeClaireSpares was the first name and that's who we always call him no matter what name he's trading under at the time.

That amount is what it costs me to get a harness from
England and deliver it to a location in the lower 48.
I could simply put a reserve on the item that would do
the same, but that's no fun.
This is his responce to my question regarding high shipping costs..

I once was the high bidder for one of his harnesses and after it was paid for, he told me that it was damaged in shipping. I'm sure the only thing damaged was his profit margin. Even tho I got a refund, his business principles stink and I will go out of my way to avoid dealing with him. Lou
