MG MGB Technical - Door Rubber Chrome Trim fitting.

I am trying to fit new chrome trim ends to my door rubber seals on my roadster.
They don't seem to match the bodywork in profile.
Is this normal or do I have a problem?
Any help appreciated.

Mine fit quite nicely and and go under the doors when they shut. I did take some pics a while ago for someone else. The ones on my car are factory originals tho.

Do you mean the trim pieces that fiT on top of the B posts? These should follow the contours exactly, and provide a nice tidy end to the door seal rubbers just behind the top of the door. Like Stan's mine are factory originals and fit fine.....
