MG MGA - binding disc brake/s?

i hadnt driven my 1600mk1 for almost a month ( dont you hate it when holidays get in the way of true enjoyment!) but i noticed today when i drove to the local petrol station to fill up the tank that the car almost stopped itself as i pulled up to the pump.
after i had given the car a fast drive around some of my favourite country lanes and given the brakes a heavy workout the car then freewheeled fine with no binding.
does anyone advise that i should dismantle the calipers to clean and lubricate the pistons and if so, what with? Or should i just drive the car more often? I have only driven 2000 miles in the car since it was totally rebuilt.
