MG ZR ZS ZT Technical - Cam belt chain

Just bought an MG ZR diesel 2.0
Does it take a chain or a belt and how long how much???

The ZR diesel uses an L series engine, which has a rubber belt (2 actually - the second one drives the fuel pump). The belt change interval for the L series is 48,000 miles if fitted with manual tensioner, or 84,000 if fitted with automatic tensioner.
